Tuesday Casual Pottery Classes 06/04/2025 1 pm

My 2-hour casual pottery classes are a fantastic way to focus on particular areas of your throwing/trimming/glazing skills, and receive direct feedback to help you improve your technique and forms, all without committing to a full term. You might have a specific outcome in mind, or simply want to practice under guidance. My group sizes are always small, with no more than three people on the wheel at any one time. The price includes clay. To glaze and fire your pieces, you'll need to book further sessions. However, you are welcome to take your unfired work home with you to finish in your own time.<br><br>If you'd prefer to practice without guidance or feedback, I also offer weekly studio access.

w 10 x d 10 x h 7 cm<br>This Raku fired piece has a beautiful surface exploding unique makings. Showing heavy reduction coppers, light blue, green and gold flashings. It's a delight to hold in your hands, very smooth, celebrating a high-end finish.<br><br>*Just to note, this piece is low-fired to 950 degrees. To ensure waterproofing, I've applied Liquid Quartz to seal the inside of the form. While I've conducted successful leakage tests over a 24-hour period, it's worth mentioning that I can't guarantee the Liquid Quartz seal.

Our studio access sessions are perfect for practicing techniques, developing your ideas, and exploring your creativity at your own pace.<br>Cost:<br>$40 for 3 hours of general studio access. (includes use of tools, space and wheels)<br>Clay can be purchased at the studio by the kilo at $3.00, or $25 for a bag of No 10 (firing costs additional). <br>This is a great opportunity to hone your skills between classes.
